Game sharing

Me and a buddy both put money towards preordering the $100 version of destiny 2. My friend Bought it on his xbox but im game sharing with him. Naturally I would get everything. Turns out I just have the game.I don't have the dlc or the preorder bonuses. I spent money on this aswell and think this is unfair. C'mon bungie..

Game sharing is a console feature, not one that Bungie supports. That's something to take up with Sony/Microsoft. With that said, only the primary account is going to be eligible to get any preorder bonus items.

  • Destiny and Destiny 2 do not have support for game sharing. Any issues you may have need to be addressed to your console provider: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12458 AFAIK, bonus content is only for 1 account, which cannot be game shared. So whoever installed the game first or logged in first will get it and not the other. Any personal money deals you have with your friend to buy the game is something you have to work out with him. Sorry, but neither Bungie nor your console provider are responsible for helping you with that part.
