This is not true. You will not get banned for using any of the apps mentioned in this post, but they may be un-compatible with Destiny 2 when using certain or features.
In short, the game might not run properly but you aren't getting banned just for running them.

You literally can't come off as worse than this. Charging people money for a product, product EPICLY fails, and when people want answers... you just sit there, silent. I've had better customer service at a gas station where no one speaks English than this "AAA game studio". Seriously, the greeter at Wal-Mart is better at their job than you. At least they make me feel like they want me to come back. Bungie just seems content with burning bridges with hundreds of thousands of customers across multiple platforms. Just one giant scam to get your pre-order money and then bend you over. You may continue to bait your younger, less experienced consumers, but this will leave a lasting taste on the palette of PC gamers. If I were an employee at Bungie, I'd be embarassed that this is the service we provide to customers.

It’s sad to see that the game is failing so hard. Now on top of it, PC release is terrible. Is this how it is going to be for the entirety of this “10 year plan” game? If it even lasts that long.

Yeah, sure thing there coz... tell that to the slew of people that were banned and weren’t cheating. My friends account was banned for an overlay... so you guys either have no idea what you’re talking about, you’re straight up lying or you guys don’t even know how the system you implemented works. It’s sad the way you guys have handled this, you should be blanket over turning bans and manually restarting... but that would just be a helpful solution to exodus of players that just got scammed out of their cash. I’m disgusted by the way Bungie is handling this... straight up deniability. Bungie should be ashamed.

@Cosmo if this is true (which I feel it is) then is there a list of not software labeld cheat this or destiny trainer that. but a list of the top reasions from a cheat watchers perspective that the banns where issued. i recall during destiny 1 many bans where handed out to cheaters in year 1 then bans where handed out to people with bad network in year 3 (those bans blocked certen activites) i am on PS4 and PC and i use software not to gain any advantage but to allow me to play i use a VPN from time to time as i am from spokane, wa but phycally live in japan. (that said my net is better then most with really low pings even to wa or california) the VPN i use is PIA i use 3rd party software Input Mapper for using a DS4 controller with rumble and other controller features on the PC. (emulates a xbox controller) OBS for steraming i only stream windowd mode and not game mode CL-EYE for enabling a PS3 Eye toy as my webcam Razer Synapse so my Destiny 2 keyboard can light up (btw the profile for the keyboard called "burning tower" really is not destiny esque. i have made 2 profiles that really feel more destiny like to me) Lime Chat i use this to connect to twitch.tv chat channel Bouyoumi chan a Text to speach engine i use with lime chat to enable my twitch chat to be read alowed to me Ablton live for voice scrubbing and sound quality when streaming Voice Attack to enable stream audio playback from voice input. i have not yet been banned. i am one of those guys that wishes his vetrin status on ps4 would reflect on pc. and values the game tons. i have 1000s of USD invested into the destiny ecosystem on ps4 and dont want to be banned so i just want to know what to avoid. i play on ps4 and pc
