The PC gaming community is going to absolutely destroy Bungie. There is going to be massive cheating. If they couldn't stop console cheaters, pc is inevitable.

This lol

Gotta love those console players talking about PC cheaters as if they actually knew anything about it.
-
I ran bots on wow without getting banned for like a year straight. I know how to cheat. Does that qualify?
-
Not really, considering how much easier it is to get banned by cheating in a FPS than farming with bots in a MMORPG. Not to mention that WoW charges a monthly fee for the game, which makes cheating "safer", as it allows players (and developers) to "test" programs for a low price.
-
By making this game more competitive and releasing it on the PC, get ready for a wild ride. How long will it be before they are in League of Legends territory, in regards to toxic. And the cheating? It was bad enough in the consoles, I can't imagine how bad it will be on the PC.
-
Irony is cheaters wont be in the game at all if they try Blizzards system bans and revokes there game license on the spot wasting everything they ever payed for. so a cheats average life span is only 3 seconds GL on the Imaginary diss for pc though I dont mind but I figured if you didnt know then you could use that info

Edited by JohnyWoof: 8/30/2017 1:10:07 AMBlizzard isn't handling Cheater's. They allow the game to be sold through them. Bungie is responsible for dealing with cheating, exploits, hacks etc...

Edited by FrenetiCreature: 8/29/2017 7:21:08 PMWhat is "hacks ect"?
-
I meant etc lol It's short for etcetera. Another way of saying so on and so forth.
-
Since when has a ban ever stopped cheaters on pc games? Do you even game bro?
-
Since games started getting expensive. Why the -blam!- would a cheater spend a minimum of $60 in a game like Destiny just to get banned?
Do you even game bro?
-
If anyone cheats on blizzard client they get IP banned for life, they have to get a new computer to actually play again.
-
Not necessarily. The should be able to ask their ISP to Release / renew their public IP. Just a thought.
-
I think he meant to say they ban, at some point, based on some hardware ID. People have been reported being banned on new copies/accounts literally a day or two after starting, after having their first account banned for cheating. Think one guy even went through four copies of the game before he figured out his system itself was flagged.
-
Works for Static IPs. If you have a Dynamic IP, it won't work.
-
I can give my computer any ip I want.., you're dreaming.
-
You'll still need another $60 copy.
-
This is true. Plus Destiny has no economy so the cheating is more to beat others than to make money. Still my main point is that pc gamers are gonna -blam!- Bungie.
-
Yep the hacks will be real
-
And Bungie thinks this forum is bad? Boy are they in for it...
LMFAO...
-
I'd rather have a retarded man-child forum filled with meaningless insults than a cry-baby-like that actually manages to ruin the game.
-
IMO it doesn't really matter what forum is created. Bungie already has shown they bit off more then they can chew..
