Recore: Definitive Edition

https://www.gamespot.com/articles/heres-everything-new-coming-in-pcxbox-ones-recore-/1100-6452926/ Or as I prefer to call it, the "we finally finished our game" edition. The definitive edition comes with the (previously cut) T8-NK frame, allowing access to those final few areas you couldn't legitimately explore before. It also fixes the infamously long load times (30-60 seconds to about 5), and provides numerous graphical enhancements, bug fixes and overall improvements. They also removed the prismatic core requirements for all higher levels of the E-tower, thereby fixing The most blatant issue of padding in the game. It isn't all just fixes and optimization however. This edition also includes:
a new expansion called "eyes of obsidian", which will act as a sort of continuation to the game's ending. There's 2 new overworld areas, 10 New dungeons, 3 new weapon modes for your rifle, Dynamic sandstorm in the Shifting Sands which offer even more dangerous foes, many more corebot pieces, and an increased level cap.
This edition Will cost $19.99 USD for newcomers. However if you already own recore, you get the definitive edition for Free. It Releases August 29th, although you can already download it if you already own recore. How do you guys feel about this? Will you give it a go? Anyone who dropped it willing to give the game another chance now?
I personally really enjoyed recore for what it was. I got about what I expected from a $40 game, my only real complaints being the endgame padding and the cut content that kept you from areas still in the game. I'll definitely give it another go though. Hell I might even restart the game if enough has changed.
• This is freaking awesome. Only played the game for a little bit, had too many things going on so I never got far. Seems they fixed a lot of issues, and a free upgrade? Hell yes. I love how companies do this. Same thing with Ori, free update with added content.
