Spend a few crucible games working on movement. Don't attack you enemies just practice dodging, getting in and out of engagement ranges and breaking sight lines. When you find yourself comfortable enough with movement that you can survive 3 or more seconds within their engagement range, then start working on offensive plays. Also don't use default controls. Bumper jumper or puppeteer will allow you to jump or crouch respectively without taking your thumbs off the control sticks making it harder for them to land head shots while keeping your aim steady. Good luck

That's an interesting proposal for training. I'm willing to try but it's gonna be really really difficult. Normally players in the crucible do not miss shots. I'm not the best strafer but surviving more than 3 shots at close/mid range is kind of impossible for me!? Can you actually do that?

Do you play titan? Use twilight garrison. Hunter? Shadestep around. Warlock? You have a broken melee and ridiculous health regen... But in general... yes it's not difficult to survive near enemies, the trick is changing direction, ALWAYS be moving to cover, and use vertical space (preferably after breaking line of sight)
