Yes!
As a Star Wars geek, I'm very excited. I really just hope they do this right. Please. Obi-Wan Kenobi is one of my favorite Jedi. I'm okay with the idea, as long as Disney doesn't make it extremely childish. I know they can't have a super-adult heavy Star Wars film, but can't they just let it slide one time. Ewan McGregor, please come back old-pal. We miss you.
Obi-Wan
Now that is a name I have not heard in a long time...
-
Big fat nope!
-
Unless they bring back Ewen Mcgregor I'm not interested.
-
Hopefully they call it....... Hello There : A Star Wars Story
-
"Obi-wan Kenobi: A Star Wars Story" They need a good title
-
Nope we already know how his story ends
he died
-
As long as its Ewan McGregor I'm down.
-
I feel like they did rogue one right, so I have some faith. However, I do totally believe an adult-focused R rated Star Wars movie would be amazing! They actually had to cut out some parts of Vader chopping up the rebels, but that inspired the idea of a rated R Darth Vader movie. You know how dark the comics are? Picture that but a freaking movie. That'd be so awesome and it'd be so violent and dark and they'd finally portray Vader in a proper light imo

Still waiting for the fan made voldemort movie
-
I'm just excited for the memes.
-
All it needs is Ewan McGregor and I'll see it.

Edited by WONT GET THIN: 8/21/2017 11:28:41 PMWhat we NEED is an R rated film that follows the battle of geonosis, the campaign on Felucia, or one that follows a commando squad. And I mean a gritty film like Saving Private Ryan gritty.

Edited by bonny_da_slaya: 8/21/2017 3:06:21 PMI heard that Yoda and Boba Fett movies are also confirmed I also kind of want a Captain Rex movie, to see what happened to him between Order 66 and the Battle of Endor (as he was confirmed to be one of the rebel soldiers there)
Ah!!! There is a mother-blam!-ing zombie on my leg! -Myself, Offtopic the Movie 2017
If LucasArts are doing a new Obi Wan Kenobi film then they better bring back Ewan McGreggor, once he grew the beard, I couldn't imagine anyone else playing the role. Aside from that, it's hard to get excited about a film that we know nothing about. It all kind of depends on what kind of story LucasArts wants to tell.

Edited by Syndicate Bias: 8/21/2017 3:54:09 PMnot to be a dick but Disney is kinda milking the shit out of a franchise that honestly deserves better direction than a rehashed episode 4, I haven't seen rogue one but I heard its better. just not agreeing with the sjw crap they have been pulling lately hopefully obi wan movie isnt shite.
inb4 Obi is black because race feelings
Disney is really milking this franchise... Such a shame.
-
Pretty excited I'd guess that it'll most likely be set between episodes III and IV but it'd also be awesome to see it set during the clone wars

The High Ground: A Star Wars Story
-
A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.
-
I just want a movie confirming Darth Jar Jar so I can die in peace.
-
This may be a bit controversial but I actually enjoyed episodes 1-3 more than ep. 7 and Rouge One Episodes 1-3 were not pretending to be anything other than somewhat playful and colorful Star Wars whereas the more recent movies have gone the path of the Bourne movies and then suddenly held back - as if they realized that going the full distance would make it too dark and realistic (which is somewhat of an oxymoron term in the context of SW). Either keep it light or go completely dark (no pun intended), just don't try to balance realism with a low PG rating.

It will only be good if McGregor comes back. Having 3 actors play the same character is too much.
-
Need a Kyle katarn move also

I bet obi wan is reys grandad. Also they better bring Ewan back, because he killed the obi wan role. I found this alternate rogue one ending, thought id share. https://youtu.be/Z9irUq-2Sfo
