While we are on that can you tell me how Al Gore, The Clintons, and a host of other politicians on both sides are worth hundreds of millions with the title of public servant. Many sell their votes for campaign contribution, sadly the worst ethical violators (Clinton foundation worth 200 million but gives less than 6% as charity) are the ones who claim to champion the minority and working-class all while taking money form countries that support the persecution of the groups they claim to champion. Learning the history of the Democratic party would do people some good, before they comment showing their lack of knowledge.

Yeah if people who think Dems are champions of civil liberty they need look no further than Robert Byrd ( An admitted klan leader) Hugo Black ( a Klansman appointed to the Supreme court by FDR (A Dem) Lyndon Baines Johnson a Dem president who used the N word over and again. A president also recorded saying he'd have those Ni-@#rs voting Dem for 50 years by signing the welfare reform act. Oh yeah they don't know their history at all! Lincoln the greatest president in history who fought a war to abolish slavery was a Republican ! In 1964 the Dems blocked school integration with Governors and Senators blocking school house doors across the south. They championed poll taxes and literacy test to keep black Americans from voting. In 1965 they voted against the voting rights act, with a minority of republicans fighting to get that legislation passed. Jim Crowe look up that racist and his history ( a Dem) Al Gore sr. I can go on all day. Yet they paint Republicans as racist without a shred of proof!
