The sword was given the name due to its effects; the sonic boom upon unleashing its electrified fury, and the carbon-nanite smoke it leaves in the air, which is able to be electrified as well. The sword, as stated, is forged from a silver and vanadium-steel composite, making it durable, heat resistant, and immune to malleability, but still able to be broken or shattered. As well, its able to conduct electricity and store great amounts of it. The blade has silver streaks going along it, shaped like lightning that arcs across the blade. With the way the blade is designed, it is unknown what allows it to generate the force and power of lightning, possibly due to superconductors in the guard that utilize a more efficient form that nature uses. With this, it is able to generate and then charge the blade with lightning, and discharge it when needed with the pull of a lever on the pommel, sending out a wave of the electrified force. As well, the sheathe is capable of loading the crossguard that laces the blade with vaporized metallic smoke, leaving trails of it when the blade whistles through the air. When electrified, the lightning infused blade also electrifies the smoke, making the clouds of metallic gray smoke a volatile trap and hazard. The electrified smoke simulates the effect of thunderstorms in appearance. The sheath, utilizing the smoke canisters, can pressurize it’s chamber and then fire the sword like a dart gun. The intense pressure inside the sheath followed by a quick release fires it with enough force to send a person off their feet, good for non lethal takedowns or for combo attacks. The last known spec of the sword, is its ability to extend from average sized to a much longer blade, the extended version being 37.5 inches, the normal version being 28 inches. This keeps a foe guessing at whether they will strike air and miss, or hit steel and block the blow, misleading foes as to what will happen. [b]Style:[/b] The sword is wielded with the fury of wind and storm, the fighting stance used is more or less a violent flurry of slashes and rapid attacks, a relentless assault in a sense, the same way a storm batters the earth. When charged with lightning, anything metal touching the blade will be given an extremely painful shock. In reality anything that touches it, if its not protected by materials that don't conduct electricity, will be shocked. When charged, the lightning in the blade can be released in a wave of electrifying force or, when stabbed forward or in any direction, will send out a bolt of lightning, capable of acting as an EMP and powerful projectile.
