Because respawn decided: hey let's Lower the TTK, put in a ability that's a shield and amps your weapons when you shoot through it, and have maps that are worse than Tfall's maps.

If that means camping on the highest point in a game were you are encouraged to move, of course they are gonna do it. You shouldn't expect anything else from multiplayer, people will flock to the cheapest and easiest thing.

When the most powerful gun is a three shot kill with a fast fire rate and easy to spam lack of skill weapon that has unlimited range and still beats smgs at close range then it's going to encourage people to stay on rooftops and camp. If respawn wanted people to play the game it's designed to be played then they would nerf the hell out of the g2 and r201/101 and reward people who actually run and gun.

1 ReplyThe entire point of Titanfall is that you're always on the move (exceptions being snipers of course) and Titans. So may I ask why people (especially Gens 7 and up) decide to stay in one spot with either a Spitfire or a R-201, like they're actually good at the game?
