Hi there. I'm not a big Destiny forum guy or community person. But I do like getting other's opinions on things.
So as the title say, "Are you changing your class?". By this I mean that in Destiny I mainly played as Hunter from day 1. I liked Warlocks as well and Titans least. (personal preference. Not sure why but I sucked at a Titan but everyone was better at something else too so to me its not all that big a deal). I want to make a Hunter and start from scratch with his face cause I botched it and made him look fugly...but I'm loving the Warlocks stuff more and more and might main a Warlock in Destiny 2. Their new Nova is pretty good and I like the new aggressive tracking it has and I think its pretty funny to watch others run in some pvp footage I saw. I will make a Hunter again cause I like that Arc Blade got changed and now seems like how it should have been thanks to Arcstrider.
So hopefully someone gives this a read and puts some input in as well. Maybe a reason why you are changing or what you were before. Or maybe you're staying the same. All is fine. Just trying to get some good talk about this game cause like everyone else I'm really excited for Destiny 2.
Side note: if anyone has some info about new classes that might help me and others gain some knowldege about the classes and might change our minds or helpbus understand more. (I'm trying to go in blind but I'm pumped and have peaked at little things so more info might be good maybe. Up to you). Again hopefully someone will right something and I dont look too dumb. If I do oh well. I tried. Have a good day.

Style over usefulness hunter for life ✊️
-
Staying hunter because it feels most comfortable to me. Like the agility. That said ima still level all 3 again. Although I disagree. Arcsstrider looks cooler but feels way worse and weaker
-
If you switch from a Warlock to something else you are ghey.
-
If Hunters dont get a buff and we dont have nightstalker I will swap to Warlock likely. Same with you surprisngly I could never get Titan right. Fingers crossed we have nightstalker I really want to main hunter again

Edited by Der Sheff: 8/5/2017 5:56:15 PMI think I am going to be a Titan main for D2. I loved the Hunter for D1 but, they dicked up the subclass way too much. And Dawn-blade just seems like a less interesting version of Hammer of Sol.
-
I mained warlock in D1 but I might go hunter in D2
-
I mained Titan in D1 and was thinking about Warlock or Hunter for a good fresh start. A lot of decisions! We have less than a month to think about it! Ahhh.
-
I played nothing but Warlock all throughout D1. I'm thinking about Hunter for D2, but idk yet. Anybody want to help me decide? Lol
-
I'm switching from Hunter to Warlock.
-
I mained a hunter all of D1, but I will main a Warlock in D2. My reason, I play with my friends a lot and the Rift special ability is very useful for team play, plus it felt refreshing to play a different class. I am not happy with what they have did do hunters. The supers feel much weaker and are the only class who's special ability is no use to teams and very weak compared to the Titan and warlock counterparts
-
Nope. Sticking to a hunter :)
-
I've used all three about equally. Started destiny with warlock. Will pick whichever one is closed to reticle when the cutscene ends. If it is the same as "beta", I'll be starting a Titan as that was closest.
-
I was a dedicated Hunter main throughout all of D1, but I'm gonna switch to Titan, at least at launch, for D2. I love the shields and the movement, and after using Shadestep so much for the past two years, I can't bring myself to use the crappy new version of it.
-
Yes because Hunters suck now
-
Titan main since day 1
-
Yeah I've been thinking about changing but I'm still not sure if I will. I've been a gunslinger main since day 1 of Destiny because it really fits my play style very well but after playing the D2 beta I feel like I would be much more useful to a team as a Titan. It's a hard decision to make do I go with a class that I really enjoy playing and fits me very well or do I change to a Titan so I'll be a better teammate for raids and such.
-
Hunter, regardless what happens with em.
-
Warlock master race. Never changing
-
It's going to be a warlock again for me in D2. I find it's the only class that suits my play style, a mix of aggressive and defensive. It's the only class I tried in D2, and trying the sub classes and abilities just sold it to me again.
-
Nope, will still and forever be a hunter main. I will make the other classes.. but then neglect them horribly.
-
This is how I thought it. Striker was really fun, Voidwalker was really powerful, but I'm still going to be a hunter main most likely.
-
Starting with hunter because titans are fat and warlocks are easy mode
-
Once a titan, always a titan
-
I cant switch from a titan. Titans are master race and a titan was my first ever charecter.
-
I am a hunter main, but it's always good to try all three. I liked the way the Titian was like a tank and could take a lot of damage, and I got good as it. The warlocks nova bomb was awesome! So you just have to see what you like.
HUNTERS ARE STILL THE BEST!!!
Im plan on staying hunter Because i always petty stuff of people that get push around and pick on. In destiny case hunter because the dev team love picking on the hunters.
