HZD itself is made out of bits and pieces of other games, they did a very good job but still the concept is hardly original. And ofcourse the Monsterhunter games have been around since at least 2006 maybe even longer than that.

I can understand that, but the Monster Hunter series started on the PS2 and has only been getting better and more popular all over the world.

I'm not debating but didn't it actually start out on the PSP handheld? That's the first I remember seeing of it.

No, it started on PS2 and then moved to PSP because of how popular the system was in Japan.

I can kinda see where you're coming from, but to be fair, Monster Hunter has pioneered this style of game in for generations, so it can also be said that HZD is a Monster Hunter wannabe, lol
