Taking the day off to play a [i]video game[/i] is pretty sad. I'd rather take a day off to spend it with family.

It's tit for tat. I can understand both sides. it is all situational. I don't think either is sad. We all need our breaks from time to time. Some peoople go fishing, Some cruise a boat on the open ocean. Some go for long walks. Some go off with friends. Some build model railways. some play games. on the flip side we all need quality time with family too.

I took off the day after and the whole weekend until Monday. But mostly since I was going to visiting my father. Thankfully he loves these type of games so Destiny 2 will tag along to be played.

People need to realize that when you say it's "sad", it's only interpreted that way for you personally. Me? Yeah I'll take a day, hell, a week off to play if I want. Doesn't mean "it", "me", or anything else about it is sad. In fact I think it's great, because I can play WITH my family if I want, and if not, it's time I have for ME. word to mommy. Rock on.

Spending time with your family is awesome brah glad to hear it. And they'll be even more so. As for why they get so offended? Well don't you already know? Snowflakes are special little people with deeper emotions and much thinner skin. They enjoy being on the Social-moral high ground at all times and in all venues. Well that and getting extremely offended by everyone that disagrees with them and the Group-Think cluster -blam!- they use for near constant [u]external[/u] validation. If you work full time, you should get at least 2 weeks of vacation time every year, so you could use that time for video games & for family. I don't get why you would need vacation time for the latter though, besides sudden illness or death, but you shouldn't need vacation time for that either.
