i have no idea why people car about their character talking so dearly?? did i miss something

Because without any dialogue it feels more like a story is happening around a character than to a character.

D1.5 is supposed to have a BETTER, MORE IMMERSIVE STORY, guess our character is just gonna be ANOTHER hollow cookie cutter bot like D1 New Story= Guardians good, Gual bad, NPCS tell you to shoot stuff cause explosions cool duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh👎🏻

but we are the guardians we are meant to be the voice of them in game to our friends etc. thats what i assumed the whole time playing destiny that we are basically the centre of all of the events around us.
