-blam!-ing hate it when

PEOPLE in injustice 2 think they're good when they spam 3 moves, most of them zoning and sweeping moves, while you spend the whole match blocking and not doing any combos you've been practicing so hard on

  • http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/ROgerXdATxBoii/video/34538420 Alright it's not Injustice 2 but it is MKX. But fighting mechanics carry over. The whole match oh boy was spamming his rocket launcher and because i failed to adapt at first i lost a round. Sadly i only recorded the last 30 secs I utilized my characters movement and special abilities to get in close on the spammer. The guy was mad zoning but because i chose to play smarter and adapted on the fly i got a victory. That's literally one of the most basic steps in a fighter. Learn as you go and git gud. Punish the opponent when the opportunity arises. My advice is git gud, don't fall for obvious traps.

  • Sounds like you suck... He zoned you out and you couldn't land a combo. How is that not your fault? I'll hit you with a dose of real here. Almost anybody who thinks they're good at a fighting game is actually really bad at it in the grand scheme of things.

    • You know, for a while on Skullgirls, Peacock would totally destroy me over, and over again. I couldn't even get close. Kept me at a distance. But then, I learned how to deal with it. If my opponent is a crazy zoner, I need to learn how to either out-zone them, or counter said tactic. For example, with Ms. Fortune, I need to get my head in the game (literally), and launch it to Peacock's location, so it can stun her long enough that I can get close. With Squigly, I need to try and either quickly charge one of my Stances for a ranged attack, or get an air strike after luring her into shooting Bang, Bang, Bang! With Fukua, I can get the advantage by shooting Peacock with an air fireball, letting me get close. Combos are no good if you can't land a hit, countering is far more important. Want to know a great way to practice learning to read moves? Play ARMS! Same essentials of a fighter (watch your opponent and counter moves), but without all the complex stuff, and much more lenient timing. Then, once you master that, try Injustice again, and get used to reading moves much quicker. Of course, I'm far from pro; I might have no idea what I'm talking about. :p

    • All fighting games have awesome combos but once either player knows how to play you can never pull them off because they won't set you up and you won't risk setting them up. It's just a poke battle. Why I dislike fighting games.
