I'm getting the game. I'm underwhelmed by the beta. I have huge reservations with Bungie's design philosophy regarding PVE vs PvP. Nerfed abilities make the game less fun (not about easy or hard, just less fun). Not having weapon variety in a given Loadout is less fun. I'm really really going to miss fusion rifle multi kills in PvE. DPS on bosses is A LOT harder now. I'm really worried about raids. Characters are less customizable. I feel like this is driven by PvP. The graphics are weird and cartoony. The movement feels weird. The gun handling feels less crisp and real. I'm getting D2 still. I will probably have some fun, but overall, based on the Beta, I'm not expecting to have nearly the relationship with D2 that I had with D1.
