My whole fireteam thought it was much slower, snail slow especially when jumping! So much so I stopped jumping!
I think my warlock on d1 is probably 3 times faster and my Titan 5 times

Meh I'm not here to argue with your feeling I just don't see it. I'm still looking forward to the full release with the same skepticism I had for D1, and I've played D1 for 3 years so there's that lol.
