Streamers and youtubers that are complaining are the ones that aren't playing as good as they did in destiny 1. No meta, no cheap kills, aim assist is lower, skill is a factor now and a lot of people are realizing they aren't as good as they thought they were but they don't want to admit it.
I love the beta, I've played the crap out of control and I'm getting 20 kills almost every single game with a 2.0 or higher efficiency. If I wasn't playing as good as I am then I probably wouldn't enjoy it as much

The new pvp mode kids poor players that they are good. Assist equals a kill now on the k/ad stats. Hell just get an assist without finishing the job and you are a crucible God. They dumbed it down for shitty players,

Majority of my kills in D1 were primary and I still don't like D2 gameplay. My special and heavy and Grenada were not even 10 percent, so you would think D2 suites me and it actually does, I do well but is just boring and laboring now. Such a ballsy sweat fest. If I want sweats I'll play 3 v 3.

Defeats aren't kills and they changed the scoring to make players who can't finish kills feel better about themselves. Also there will always be a meta unless all the weapons are 100% balanced which they never will be.

They made the game easier. Even buffed the pvp stats. The game is slower in every regard. Making it easier. Streamers or good players will not struggle. Good players will still be good. Bad players will still suck. --except, instead of a 1kd they will see 1.4 EFF and think they are improved. Skill was not changed at all. The main emphasis is team shooting and staying in groups of 3 or 4. That does not require skill. My 10 year old is playing great. He wasn't very good at d1 pvp. But with less players and a less hectic arena, slower ttk and slower movement, we have a dumbed down pvp that is much easier.

Agree with several points. But this pvp is very hectic. Its too easy too get kills. Maps are tiny, movement speed is absolutely plenty fast. Much faster than halo for instance. Ttk is fast as well

Its all slower and less hectic than d1. Which is what is making it much easier. The dumbed down the entire game. Dying easy can happen because of team shooting. I rarely die to one guy, its normally 3 or a bullet from around a cornre. Im winning most games. My stats are all way up. Im just struggling to enjoy it. D2 pvp is a team shooting simulator/cover shooter.

Agree, i have been going solo. I win some 2x 1 battles but it is tough it doesnt seem slow to me but have been playing halo 5 where maps are more spread out and kill times tend to be a little slower. Agree its dumbed down, its now team and i always prefer and have played pvp solo.

Maybe I will like it better. I haven't tried the pvp yet (not really my bag),but I have it in my schedule for tomorrow morning before the Farm opens up. I liked the abilities in D1,regardless of how well I didn't do. It was fun. (Even though I'm bored to tears with it now.)

The skill gap has been dumbed down, they're not doing as good because it's a child's game now, meant to hold you hand so everyone can get a participation award.
