D2 beta is awesome, I'm still getting the game, and I'm still going to love it.
Things are different, yes, isn't that what we wanted?
New game, new mechanics , different abilities.
I swear I love this game but streamers and youtubers have ruined gamer's minds.
Stop listening to the internet rant , and make up your own mind. If you don't like it, don't play it. It's that simple.
For the rest of us, we will be enjoying this game for the long haul. I hope to see you all starside!

About 85 to 90 percent of all people complaining about and saying they will cancel there preorder will still buy D2.

Implying that people who dislike the beta are only doing so because their favorite streamer/ youtuber has "ruined their mind" is a terrilbly ignorant thing to say. There are people who really WANT to like this game but don't. They want to enjoy playing this game like they did D1. Or they WANT this game to be fun like D1 wasn't. The majority of the people posting critic here, on the forums, actually care for the game and want to make it better. So just saying "don't like it, don't play it" really isn't that simple.

As a returning player having dropped out not long after TTK, I'm super hyped. Haven't played Destiny properly in so long I'm even looking forward to the strike grinding :D

I really dig the beta, but there are definitely things that can be improved before launch: if people don't raise these concerns with Bungie, they won't change them.... Supers being nerfed into the dirt and cooldown timers being my main concerns. I'm legit loving both Crucible modes and 4v4 is amazing IMO though. PVE being addressed already too; Bungie do listen.

4 RepliesI don't watch streamers or youtubers or twitchers. I thoroughly believe that's a waste of time when these people are going to grow up bitching about not making enough money when they could have been getting an education. D2 is a nice change, yes but it is still a kick in the junk when you think of all the time Bungie had to test their weapon perimetrics (2 years) and ignorant kids on here think with a new game it all starts from scratch. It doesn't. You see there are only different gun names, colors and shapes...but the perimetric data doesn't have to change except when they want to make a special new weapon....hence why the rocket / grenade launcher sucks ass. Then look at the abilities, its the same minus a few intricacies and just laid out different. The biggest new piece is a different engine and graphics are nice and sharper. So if this is going to be really good then it's going to have a big story line and pvp will not swallow up the majority of the game....I see this NOT being the case but please Bungie prove me wrong and prove to me that your not just trying to make something so addictive that the worlds bottom feeder low income types get a new batch of people living in it.

2 RepliesI played the beta without watching and "reviews" or reading any posts, I wanted to see if I truly liked it or disliked it without any outside feedback. So I log on played the story mission, it was ok, it kept me interested, played the strike, also ok, not really anything different from D1 except you fall through a floor a couple times. But what the actual hell is wrong with my DPS? Why don't I have any grenades or melee or super ?? I think I ran that strike and maybe got 4 grenades and shit took forever to kill !! Then I played a match of control and then uninstalled "destiny 2 the beta" then came on here and made a post of why I wasn't going to buy D2, and got called a stupid asshole by some but more agreed, so then I started digging only to find that the community is up in arms over D2!! This forum, you tube and Reddit are all set ablaze with guardians foaming at the mouth !! And honestly I can't blame them!

4 RepliesI don't pay attention to youtubers and streamers to influence me. The Beta is bad, especially if it reflects what the finished game might be like. It's fine to have your own opinion but don't make stupid assumptions. Yes people wanted changed but obviously that's a poor way to put it. I for one wanted more emphasis on PvE with PvP being a side thing to do. The mechanics are in favor for PvP, so yeah not what I wanted.

I love it other than the power weapon issue and my Warlock is a girl :P I've got all the crucible armor and almost all the strike armor. It's going to suck to loose all that progress, but I'll get over it

I waited until yesterday to get on and see what people were saying, I've had about 5 days to form my opinion. After playing each class extensively I'll say that the Titan and Warlock feel fine but the Hunter seems lackluster and missing something. To those who say it's just a beta and to stop complaining, I complain because it's a beta. We need to tear it apart and tell Bungie what's good and not.

Ive never hated on destiny. For 3 years ive played almost every day. In D2 I personally just wanted a ton of new content, weapons, and armor. I pre ordered D2 and I'm still excited to play it. But there are some problems in my opinion. I absolutely despise the new weapon system. Putting shotguns, regular fusions, and snipers in the energy section would fix this for me. I also think it looks a lot more cartoonish than D1. Almost overwatch graphics. The abilities are slow but will probably change once we have mods. And they've said they are buffing weapon damage and ammo drops so that's good. But I can definitely say I was more hyped for the Taken King and Rise of Iron than I am for D2.

Yeah I love the beta. I think I enjoyed the 2 days of beta so far more than 2+ months of Destiny right now. It's honestly balanced and gun play is highlighted the most. What I didn't get is whiners who loved Halo but hate this. This is so much like Halo. It's Halo but with a deeper customization and perk selection

Signed. Everyone needs to experience things for themselves, instead vicariously through others. What one person bitches about, another person loves. So instead of listening to the naysayer, form your own opinion and make your own choice. You don't owe anyone an explanation for your choice, nor do you need to shove it onto someone else unsolicited. If you're not getting it, good for you for making an adult decision. Move on to the thing that excites you, don't linger like an obsessed, abusive ex... or cancer. If you're getting it, great! Same goes for you.

We all know that bungie only care twitch streamers bungie only listen to them. They killed destiny 1. So wtf are you talking about if you can't change anyting.. the toy of destiny is realkraftyy and others, he also carry people with the support of bungie giving him a less toxic matchmaking, less recoil in his weapons also allow him to lag switching others when he gets rekt 0-4.. most of you will change nothing here or there. Its like in cod activision is a mafia and bungie/streamers are part of it. Sorry if im a bit rude on my words but I wouldn't lick your feets bungie. You fked alot my destiny experience nerfing our game for your dogs streamers. I don't trust on bungie devs. I don't like them. But i like destiny 2 that's all. And yeah I got banned 5 times from these forums..

You can't get mad at people forming their opinions. There are some legitimate concerns about the game. If you love it cool, but the concerns of other people shouldn't bother you.
