D2 beta is awesome, I'm still getting the game, and I'm still going to love it.
Things are different, yes, isn't that what we wanted?
New game, new mechanics , different abilities.
I swear I love this game but streamers and youtubers have ruined gamer's minds.
Stop listening to the internet rant , and make up your own mind. If you don't like it, don't play it. It's that simple.
For the rest of us, we will be enjoying this game for the long haul. I hope to see you all starside!

2 RepliesBump, I just wish they made the armor look more like it was made for the male and female. Currently the hunter and the warlock gear looks female and I cant really tell if the hunter is male or female, and I can't make heads or tails of the titan at all lul. In the beta selection the hunter stands like a female, that really doesn't help.

Agreed. People are honestly way too critical about things. Why can't they just enjoy what they get, instead of complaining about every little thing that irks them? Don't get me wrong, there are things that I don't like about the beta, but I'm not going to let that stop me from enjoying Destiny 2.

Totally agree! Plenty of people will whine, complain, and troll. Ignore them! I pre ordered the digital deluxe edition and I am keeping it. FWIW the beta was good. Sure it needs some improvements but Bungie said it was an older build.

Make up my own mind? Streamers and youtubers voice the opinion of their community. Majority of the streamers and tubers are correct with what they say. Hunters are underpowered, cooldowns are slow, Bloom is still a thing and Bungie out right lied to us by being it back.

I have faith, and I have hope, that Destiny 2 will be a truly astounding game. I will even go as far as to say that I have faith and hope that Destiny 2 will redeem the franchise. I thought the Beta was great too, most fun I've had in Destiny since the House of Wolves actually. I believe the full release will be even greater. Still, I can't blame people for being skeptical, and I cant blame them for being critical, even if it's "just a Beta." Bungie as a whole hasn't exactly kept the greatest of track records these past three years, so skepticism and criticism is perfectly understandable. Unfortunately, most of what I've seen has just been uneducated, "first game was bad, second game will also be bad," or "not enough change" or, even more baffling, "too much change." Take your time. Be logical. Make your points. I may not agree with you at the end of the day, but at least you're not just hopping on the Bungie/Destiny hate train just because it's "trendy."

I agree about the forum, it's not just the destiny forum it's most I have only ever been on one which was helpful. I think people like to complain even though If the did a bit of research they would see the beta is a old build and the issues people are talking about have already been addressed. One more tip, don't refurbish a 595 fiat abarth's allows in the wrong colour, the fiat forum will kill you 😂

The beta's just to small and pvp is over ruling pve again. My only other complaint is the new weapon system but besides that it's fine for what it is. The cool downs seem fine to me and honestly the people that complain that bungie doesn't listen should look at destiny's pvp history. The meta and all the buffs and nerfs were because bungie was listening. Yes they were listening to the people that complained every time they got killed by something twice but still listened. I just hope they can find a way to balance pvp and pve. Also hunters do need a buff.

There are some classes like the hunter that can't even compete in pvp cause it is very weak and what makes it weak are the subclasses, Arcstrider's super can be shot down easily and Golden Gun only lasts for 3 seconds until it rans out. Abilities charge very slowly, you can just use 1 super per game (pvp) if you perform well and there are times in where you cant even use it. It also feels very slow. The best thing of the beta is actually the first story mission, the strike in my opinion felt like a strike form D1, the boss was Atheon 2.0, I mean plz where is the creativity lol. Its only the beta and I hope when d2 comes out, people will enjoy it, but first bungie needs to do some changes. (srry for my bad english lol)

19 Replies"If you don't like it, don't play it." It's this attitude that locks poor decision making in for a long time. Voicing concerns is crucial during the beta. I'd be happy to discuss details, but the beta in a nutshell (thank you Jez), is just just boring. Between weak guns, insane cooldowns, no mixing of skill trees, no way to play with my clan in PVP if there's more than four of us, and the forcing of me to decide between sniper and rocket, I am thoroughly convinced Bungie needs to be given a heads up right now that this will really hurt the game in the long run. If someone hands me a little bit of a brownie, and that small portion tastes like shït, it is perfectly logical to assume the rest of the brownie also tastes like shît. I [b]hope[/b] they fix these things, my concern is, and it sounds paranoid, that Luke Smith sincerely enjoys trolling us. His vision of what is [b][u]fun[/u][/b] in a game is legitimately scary. I genuinely don't think he understands what makes a game fun. And I'm ok with boiling down my complaints into that one awesome word that keeps us coming back to all of our favorite games, they should be fun. Destiny 2 Beta is just not that much fun.

For me, the beta was a small sample. I'm sure some things will change and it does look prettier. My biggest concern is the pace of the game. I enjoy the fast nature of D1. I feel like D2 is like slogging through mud. It's too slow for me (i'm old btw). I hope there are things or that they can alter the game so it plays faster. Also, 4 vs 4 sucks. Give me 32 vs 32
