D2 beta is awesome, I'm still getting the game, and I'm still going to love it.
Things are different, yes, isn't that what we wanted?
New game, new mechanics , different abilities.
I swear I love this game but streamers and youtubers have ruined gamer's minds.
Stop listening to the internet rant , and make up your own mind. If you don't like it, don't play it. It's that simple.
For the rest of us, we will be enjoying this game for the long haul. I hope to see you all starside!

You can't get mad at people forming their opinions. There are some legitimate concerns about the game. If you love it cool, but the concerns of other people shouldn't bother you.

It would be nice to know what we don't have access to so the complaining can be tempered a bit. I want to throw a fit over super and ability charge rates in PvE but I don't know [i]anything[/i] about how armor will affect stats or what we can or can't see in the subclass menu. No one can make an argument for or against anything until we can see the full game.

I played almost 2 hrs in the Beta roaming around the first area of the strike killing enemies, went and played the daily story mission in Destiny. Makes me love Destiny even more.

Warframe continues to be the better looter shooter and with a ton of games on the horizon for this year, Destiny 2 will probably be played by a few people but not anything like Destiny 1 was. And this demo of the game didn't help them get people who were on the fence, they got the people who wanted the game no matter what and a lot of the people on the fence went towards waiting for the game to go on sale or not getting it at all. You have to remember we have been burned for a very long time by Bungie and changing the entire way the game plays from ground up wasn't what we signed up for. It is just another thing that come one DLC/patch will be changed again. Look at Ascendant shards going to Radiant shards going to Exotic shards and the number of times an in game currency went extinct or merged with another every couple months.

Destiny 2 will sell and will be good. But in the long run it is a failure. It is a game where Bungie had the option to do something truly beyond what we all expected and it has done nothing but give constant disappointments. D2 launching on PC will crush Bungie. They are going to destroy Bungie lawl.

D2 is like D1 but weapon and character mechanics are modified. Just the small changes of the weapon slots and supers makes it a different game, IMO. Judge it separately folks. I say D1 rules, we'll see about D2 in September.

12 RepliesStreamers and youtubers that are complaining are the ones that aren't playing as good as they did in destiny 1. No meta, no cheap kills, aim assist is lower, skill is a factor now and a lot of people are realizing they aren't as good as they thought they were but they don't want to admit it. I love the beta, I've played the crap out of control and I'm getting 20 kills almost every single game with a 2.0 or higher efficiency. If I wasn't playing as good as I am then I probably wouldn't enjoy it as much

I don't know it does not feel as fun or exciting as D1. Meaning, too slow and a longer ttk is just a pain.

Hit detection, super/ability charge rate, power ammo drop rate, super/power weapon damage. Just to name a few. Gameplay feels fine, but Bungie has never had a problem making a shooter feel crisp and responsive. Right now it feels like we're fighting with one hand behind our backs. Hopefully we get to feel powerful again once the final game ships. To be fair, were not using our fully upgraded classes yet either. I'm curious to see if having the other ability nodes unlocked would make a difference. For example the six shooter perk is really[i] not[/i] the right choice for PvP so how good that subclass can actually perform is currently up for debate.
