D2 beta is awesome, I'm still getting the game, and I'm still going to love it.
Things are different, yes, isn't that what we wanted?
New game, new mechanics , different abilities.
I swear I love this game but streamers and youtubers have ruined gamer's minds.
Stop listening to the internet rant , and make up your own mind. If you don't like it, don't play it. It's that simple.
For the rest of us, we will be enjoying this game for the long haul. I hope to see you all starside!

I agree. The criticism is mainly when comparing to D1 from what I can see. If you took D2 (beta) in isolation then I think it would be viewed differently. It just needs some tweaks to ability charge rate and ammo drop rate and we're good to go - Bungie have already publicised this point in TWAB. Having played a lot of D1 it is sad to see how some of the supers have changed (weakened GG and slowvabomb for example), but I think the overall package will be awesome and we'll just have to adjust.

Agreed love the new system. Need some tweaks here and there but overall a good system. My complaint/praise will come from how big/small the planets are and how much activity it had. And to be honest I can't wait for a new raid.

I didn't like the beta but I am hoping that Bungie listens and fixes some of these issues like weaker grenades and Melees and the slow floaty jumps. Other than that the game needs to reward players for great games not just give all the loot to scrubs.

didnt think it was awesome but i see it as a chance the start destiny from scratch, level and loot hoping that the feeling of getting weapons feels as rewarding as it felt in the early d1 days. that alone might keep me busy for 100-200 hrs of playtime. dont know if ill put in as many hrs as i did in d1 but well see.

If bungie comes out and confirms they fixed abilities, supers, and just shit skill tree on warlocks then I'll play. That strike in beta felt tedious and was barely any fun. I go into pve to have fun using my super throwing grenades. Not having a slow ass ball that does shit for damage and aoe, having to use up my super to make my grenades be able to kill a freaking red bar, have horrible skills on a skill tree when there's only two for each subclass, or have a super like dawnblade that lasts way too short and has one if not the worst dps outputs. Pve was not fun and that's what a lot pvpers can't get through their thick skull. It's not about feeling op it's about actually having fun.

If we could just have D2 pick up after D1, I'd be ecstatic (With or without our items.) I preordered D2, and I'm not canceling it. But I am very concerned with the direction the game is going in.

Agree. After actually playing all of the classes and using all of the weapons in PVP and PVE I have to say the Beta was a pleasant surprise for me. I especially liked the slower TTK in PVP gun play, one super per PVP match, and that stickies in PVP no longer kill you if you are at full health. What I didn't like was that Sentinels had to hold down the LB+RB for a short time to get the shield or a slightly longer time to get the bubble. I hope they switch that to double clicking LB+RB to get the bubble and single clicking LB+RB to get the shield.
