1 ReplyI think Mayweather will win solely because its pure boxing, and so he has a wealth of experience. Whereas McGregor has less experience in pure boxing - its a whole different ball game to him. That being said Mayweather won't completely destroy McGregor like people believe, because whether you like it or not MMA is undoubtedly a more brutal sport than boxing, and so McGregor in terms of raw strength probably has the edge. Regardless it will be a good fight.

Connor would destroy him in actual MMA Floyd's defense is too good and he's been doing this long before many of the users on this site were born. If Connor can't knock Floyd out within the first 3 rounds then his chance of winning drops substantially. If i remember right boxing has much longer rounds along with more rounds compared to UFC. I'm not too sure whether or not Connor has the stamina to go all 10 rounds being able to knock out Floyd. From my understanding Connor also isn't too well versed in boxing and had to learn (re learn?) it rather recently. Please let me know if I'm wrong on that. Back to what i said with there being more rounds. If Connor doesn't knock him out by round 3 then Floyd will just rack up points on the scorecard. Again, Floyd's defense is that good. At the end of the day though, it's just an exhibition match. I don't give a shit who wins. I will try to be logical in who i think wins.

I want Connor to win but im not sure how well he will adapt to just boxing. Its hard to break years of fighting with everything and only using your hands, especially when you see an opportunity mid fight. Im not a big expert on boxing or mma but thats my 2 cents.

4 RepliesEven tho it is boxing, i still think Connors gonna win. Hes got basic boxing training but i think his mma background will help him ALOT. They're trained to take a beating and carry on, more so than boxers and being that he's younger, he's got alot more energy to keep him going. Mayweather uses the same tactics every fight and Connor knows this so it's gonna make him predictable. I don't think he's gonna knock him out or anything and i recon it'll be close but Connor will definitely win. Plus Connors attitude is so chilled, he's doing it for fun where as mayweather seems like he wants to prove something which i think will be his downfall. Personally, i just really wanna see mayweather knocked the -blam!- out! Irritating, cringey little twat. Either way it's gonna be brilliant to watch!

They are a pair of mouthy stunts I hope they knock each other out .i for one will not be paying to see this joke. I like mayweather as a boxer,but he should stay retired. If it's boxing, it's about a 40/60 chance of Conner winning. If they do MMA, mayweather would get destroyed 100% of the time.
