I'm sure it has something to do your gear. From what I gear, the gear in the beta don't have intellect, discipline, and strength stats.

Bungie already said int/dis/str stats won't be a thing anymore. This is in order to balance pvp so that some people don't get super more than others.

Yep another pvp decision for pve mode. Anyway this is beta and gameplay is limited so won't judge anything.
