It reminds me of a Taken axiom dart but much, much bigger. It tracks, it can be destroyed and it moves slowly ( granted the axiom dart does speed up but my point is still there).

A fair comparison. Those Axiom darts are still pretty annoying too.

Also looks like the slow moving Nova starts off fast and then slows down.
