The worlds look so much bigger and less restrictive. My only concern is the low gear quality from adventures. I am ok with it, but only if some adventures give me better stuff (and are more difficult) than others. I'm still really hype for the exploration tho, besides the story, that was destiny's biggest problem.

I think it may improve as you level up!

Nothing like a bunch of half second clips to let you know the scope of a patrol zone....
-
I said they look bigger. Jesus Christ I don't understand why people have to look at every positive post and find a way to shit all over it.
-
Maybe because you people will take a half second image and say "the new world looks huge" but they can tell you "we are removing all these things" and you say "let's wait until we play it before we complain about them removing things". You can't force everyone to wait until release to be critical while hyping every split second of repeated videos they release. It makes you a hypocrite. So I come on here and balance the scales Everytime I see unnecessary hype...

Except that you have no idea whether or not I personally am a hypocrite. Additionally, I wasn't making a definitive statement as to weather or not the world was bigger, I was saying that, to me, the world looks bigger. A lot of the hate for this game makes a definitive statement about how the game will play. Not how it might play. My statement was about how the game might be, which is fine.

Spooky, you're all over the forum. I think I've seen 1-2 actually acknowledgements of problems in the last 6 months, but you are on pretty much EVERY hype thread as soon as it appears...
-
I'm hyped, and I only have 400 hours on d1. As someone with almost 2000 hours, I'd imagine you'd be hyped too.
-
Hey look another guy with the "you played the game" argument. Anyone that got vanilla destiny and cared AT ALL about gear, they had as many or many more hours than me. If you picked up the game around TTK then you have no actual insight on the conversations others are having...
-
Then I guess it's a good thing that I've been playing since the alpha. I've always been at max light and didn't need to put in that much time. In fact, you can tell by my emblem that I played trials - a game mode where you have to be max light. Anyway, with that aside, I'm just confused as to how someone can be so dedicated (almost addicted in my opinion) and not be hyped for the sequel.
-
It WAS an addiction. You're totally right about that. I had a lot of free time during vanilla and it required a lot of grind if RNG wanted to be an asshole. I full on vaulted gear and rerolled characters so that I could get another chance at VoG gear that week. But then the removal of gear value and then the cash grab micros and lacking content, with the additional info that destiny 2 is basically a complete story reboot just killed the itch.
-
Oh really? I can understand that but it's actually the opposite for me. I'm super excited about a fresh new game - it's a chance for them to start over and make the game I've always wanted. By the end, I found d1 not worth my time. From what I've seen, I have the impression that d2 is much improved to d1. But I'll have to wait and see to be sure.

Edited by zSwabee: 7/18/2017 1:03:51 PMYeah, because I'm hype for the game. That doesn't make me a hypocrite. And btw the game wasn't even announced 6 months ago. You also fail to acknowledge the fact that in this very post I voiced a concern I had for the game.

Reading this argument, I have derived a new word: hype-ocrite... I'm not on either side of this argument,... but yeah.
