Greetings Bungie! It's me again. Sorvel_64 with another thank you to Bungie for being a great company. Now sure I'm not saying Bungie is perfect but I have my reasons. I wrote to you guys a year ago and I shared my story of how I came to want to work for Bungie when I made that decree waaaay back in 3rd grade and how my father helped me pursue that. And a lot has changed in a year. I've met new people, gained a new friend, had new adventures and even met the love of my life thanks to Destiny. Despite its flaws, it's for those little things that I keep playing, the community who cares and the wonderful people I get to meet along the way and the memories. Not to mention the game itself re-kindled my fire as, like Halo before it, I fell in love with the game. The music, artwork, the worlds, the details... a lot of the things I like looking for in a game. You guys opened my world up. And I'm still here, a lone Hunter with the dream of being a Bungie artist. I know people have told me it's hard, or that's it's near impossible but that hasn't detoured me for over 10 years. I went into this knowing it is going to be hard and that I have a lot of competition and that I have to be the best I can. I'm going to get there, because I'm passionate and dedicated and that's what I've wanted for over a decade. I'm working hard, I've graduated college a few months ago and am still improving. I always want to improve to be my best, cause I want to bring that passion to Bungie; and never before has my dream been so close. My portfolio is far from finished or even remotely done. I'm excited for what's to come. Not to mention that awesome Destiny 2 art book I pre ordered. I can't wait to crack that open! Yeah, I'm sad I don't have the time or money to see you guys at PAX or go to Guardian-con. But I know my hard work will pay off. Thank you Bungie, and to all the people who were involved to make something so awesome (past and present). And to give me something to strive for in my life. Keep it up, and keep surprising me.
