    Had been discussing this in other threads and it seems doubtful it would be implemented into raids as they've always dropped loot instead of engrams. If you got a great new gun but could then not use it it would have a detrimental affect on the raid; having to orbit to change guns then go back in would lower the immersion factor of playing a raid. Does Bungie do weird things? Yeah, they love to shoot themselves in the foot but this seems to be an overblown concern. It would also make lfg posts more restrictive (not that they are not already) if people are looking for X gun to fill that sixth slot; Bungie wanted to get away from this mentality. Likely we could see the fixed load-outs in the new Trials and as a possible Nightfall modifier.

  • Seems like it'll just be annoying. In VOG for example I like switching weapons between different encounters It'll be annoying to need go back to orbit during the raid if you want to change.

  • I don't think that'll work if they do decide to implement it, otherwise it'll be a pretty obvious workaround..

  • I feel it will only be for raids and maybe nightfalls. But I hope it can't be cheesed by going to orbit or leaving dear.

  • Maybe on Heroic versions. One of the Bungie guys said that they were working on some other penalty instead of no revives.

  • Yeah, that would be pretty intense. I would do it if the challenge rewards were worth it; but you wouldn't catch me trying to talk my friends into that game mode.
