Did anyone else think while watching the IGN video that "The Farm" felt bland?

It's a social space. It does social space things. It really nothing new or exciting.
-
Extremely
-
Yep. Like all reused assets from destiny 1. Even the hanger where they were rebuilding ships looked exactly like the first part of wrath of the machine if you go to the right side after you spawn. Looks like all assets are being reused with very little new except a chicken and soccer goals.
-
I thought it was kinda bland yes and they didnt show much. I mean its 2 months from the game release. I would have expected more than that.
-
Yeah, but then 2 things occurred me: 1) They didn't show everything 2) They said the Farm will "evolve" and expand as we play the campaign. Maybe that's the raw, not upgraded farm?
-
Just like the tower was supposed to evolve in Destiny 1. There was going to be things in a lot of the closed doors in the tower and the only thing that opened was everse so they could make more money.
-
Really? I wasn't aware of that! D=

-
That's weird, because Bungie usually show off all their turds, spoiling the surprise.
-
If it evolves/expands as we play, does that mean that the other 25 players that would also be there, would have to be at the same level I wonder.
-
Makes me think it's just more double talk from the Bungie team and "change and evolve" equals iron banner vendor shows up, queens ransom equivalent shows up.

It was a little bland and reminded me of the Reef social space. As long as the Farm evolves and expands, then it will be great.
Did anyone else think while watching the IGN video that "The Farm" felt bland?
No, we saw the Cryptarch and Postmaster. No other vendors, factions or vault stuff. We got a quick glimpse but I wouldn't call holding back on showing everything...bland.

Edited by Seraph: 7/5/2017 8:49:16 PMYes, very, very bland. According to Bungie, the Farm has been there for awhile, yet I did not get a sense that anyone actually lived there. I was shocked at how empty and lifeless it felt.

I want to see the dirty underwear hanging up.
-
I just wanted to see something that felt somewhat nostalgic from destiny 1s social space.
-
Yes, and I think it's supposed to at first. They said the further you progress the more these areas will be populated with people and things.
-
We didn't see everything, though. Where are the factions or crucible?
