Technically Luke Smith said that he felt they effectively exited the Stranger's story arc, that doesn't mean that it's definitely finished as there are a number of other leads at Bungie and it's possible another lead may choose add to that story on a later project though we could say it's as close to 100% certain as possible that it won't be under Luke Smith's supervision.
