She has no reson to be in destiny 2. She is connected to the vex storyline not the cabal. No is really no reson to doubt that at some point the character will return. Eveyone can chill out just a bit.

That time line is not gone.. Reading the vex grim cards they can move between time lines.. If she has harnessed the power of the vex to move across time lines an back in time then she is not gone.. She could return to our time line at any point.
