played that first encounter other day, she says 'your interesting, not very interesting though' or similar.... also i thought i glimpsed some story when she said 'i'm not born from light' just after saying the vex are so evil they even despise other evils, then crushes one with her foot... so much in just that aspect alone to create interesting backstory, never mind the true one that prob got the chop.. still now pvp instead of rpg in space is driving who cares :(

The "not born from the light" is in reference to the fact she isn't guardian but instead a regular Exo.

what about the vex hating other evil bit though, i'm just picturing where the story might of gone, that the stranger was evil herself... bit mad but until a proper ending it's just guessing.

If I had to guess: I figure the Vex are a time displaced prototype upgrade from the future of the Exo. In their original time they are infected by the darkness before the displacement, and so their core programming, while originally meant to encourage destruction of the darkness, now includes destruction of the light and guardians as a sub-directive too.
