Hey it's a low carpet and the case has little legs (standoffs?) So there's a big gap under it
-
Take the box for the case and rip off a chunk of cardboard and stick it under the case.
-
I got the case from a friend so i don't have the box.

What? Still no good?

how big is the gap? Got a 10 by under mine. Basically a plank. Keeps the feet from sinking into the carpet at all. Also keeps the psu from sucking dust directly outta the carpet.

About 2 inches(more or less), it's a low carpet.

Edited by Aldrich: 6/12/2017 12:12:37 PM50/50. Maybe related to how I was brought up. Tech never sits on a rug. Peace of mind. If I were you I'd at least scope it out every so often. See what trhe fan side looks like. I'll post a pic this afternoon when I get outta work. Depending on the weight, it may sink down a little bit over time. Especially if you have any sort of mat under the carpet.

Originally I wanted to set it on my desk but I cant since my desk didn't have the room.

I built in a Cooler Master Storm Stryker. Full tower. But I fully Underestimated the size. So what I did was cut maybe.... an 18ish inch section of a 10ish inch wide board and set it on that. This particular case weighs in at about 30 pounds with nothing in it. Sank into the carpet a little. Also a low, fairly stiff carpet. Wall to wall. But there's a bit of pad under it (carpet) so stuff sinks down some.
