It's always interesting to see these posts. Generally, people believe in the "Illuminati" or some secret cabal or conspiracy, because their own life is down the shitter, and they want to find someone to blame for that, be it a global evil conspiracy of everything remotely left-wing, or the Jews, or the Muslims, or the Republicans, or the immigrants.
It's always a sure indicator that you want to find someone to blame for your own failings if you believe in these sorts of things.

There is so much going on here that you simply don't see. I assume you my life is not down the shitter. I merely know things to be true, and I have seen them myself in some cases, with my own eyes right in front of my face. But you don't need to have seen anything in person to understand the truth. If you actually study history, and focus on the flow of money and the recurrence of certain groups' involvement in world events, you can grasp what's happening here. You're never going to grasp anything if you remain willfully boxed into your particular mode of mainstream thought. True wisdom necessitates considering all possibilities - no matter how ridiculous they may seem within your current worldview - and not dismissing ideas out of hand. Five years ago, everybody thought I was insane for suggesting that the CIA could listen to you through your television. Five years ago, everybody thought the idea of the CIA running a meme department for propaganda purposes was ridiculous. Five years ago, the notion of full media propaganda was considered impossible in our "free and open" society. Yet here we are, and all of those things are happening. Don't [i]believe[/i] everything you read, but do [i]consider[/i] everything you read.

That's exactly the point I'm making. It's not at all affected by political affiliation either. Both Left and Right wingers are guilty of it and both need to own up to it for the benefit of the world.
