The seventh day of the seventh month, while it isn't the seventh year it is the seventeenth. Sony's E3 portion happens on a monday, right before reset day. The seventeenth falls on a Saturday (seventh day of the week). Bungie said the beta would launch on a reset day
The teaser trailer for Destiny 2 had some very conspicuous numbers for glimmer and strange dust...
So, Bungie will most likely save Destiny 2 things for E3. The age of triumph book is already out so they most likely won't give another. We can probably expect to see a video submission event. The prizes are most likely limited to shaders and emblems, however with Destiny coming to a close, there is a probable chance of limited store items. It is highly unlikely that there would be a reward related to Destiny 2, although it would would extremely awesome if first place got a book filed with coded messages and hidden meaning related to Destiny 2.
Since there will be no more added content to Destiny, we can assume there won't be an in-game event.
Let's see, what else can we speculate within the realm of possible reasoning...any ideas anyone?
