Yeah, so without Trump, their shows would basically be dead. They are under his control, technically. I don't think you fully understand the term "in someone's pocket."

I don't think you're thinking this all the way through. How does Trump benefit from this now? I explained how they helped him win the election, but after that, this negative coverage can only hurt him. Also, he doesn't control him just because he improves their ratings. Unless, of course, you're telling me that he intentionally says ridiculous things, and is knowingly holding their primary source of material (in other words, his own mouth/Twitter feed) hostage.
