Destiny for PC Q&A

Ok, so Destiny is coming to PC but then no questions have been answered about it accept its a Battlenet exclusive. So we would be able to keep some things from our play through from the first Destiny to Destiny 2, but what if we move to PC can we not have them now? If there was ever a population concern would cross platforming on an areanet be possible? I'm fine with trade never happening in Destiny but with PC, what steps are going to be taken so people don't use third party software to require money for groups or services? These are just a few questions and if the best Bungie has to offer so far is putting the apps you could just download to your phone in game, its going to be a rough start. I say this because you could find groups just by posting your item level and what you wanted to run. I'm sure most people who progressed far in the game feel the same way as I do or at least don't care much for the new stuff Bungie is putting in. I'm not trying to complain, but instead offer a solution to the issue, but only for groups making people pay for help. They can have 3 loot tables, First is heroic mode loot table, Second is regular loot and Third is Guided loot. I remember running Crota over and over because people needed the help but I got nothing for it but paying back the community for helping me. So Heroic and Regular having different loot table is good because if you can get a good weapon on normal that you cant on Heroic people will do Normal just for that gun. As for Guided loot, they can go towards items that can reset the weekly for that character. So the more you run the more you can get gear. Just a thought tho. Any other ideas could help the game thrive and I think would help Bungie avoid any future bumps in the road with their addition to the PC platform.

  • For people who don't know what an areanet is, its the system that guildwars used for its gameplay. Not saying that bungie uses it, but the gameplay is the same. When you get in a dungeon your on your own channel so to speak or instanced. The idea if the population does become an issue, people could join only on an area net like strikes, nightfalls and raids. If bungie was up for it, even PVP, but everyone complains about playing people on PC. As for the events, quests and patrols I don't see how they can put that on an area net without bogging down the servers. No point in areanet if that happens. Just a thought tho.
