Not every game is going to appeal to everyone.
Many people just don't like third person shooters. But for what it was designed to be, the game was excellent (to start) and was VERY appealing to many Destiny PVE players who were frustrated with where this game was back in the Spring of 2016.

Yeah,the third person view was also an issue for me.
