I've played about 20 IB matches so far. Some of these were in a fireteam with people in the US (I live in the UK)
I have only seen a small amount of lag on one player so far. That was a slight glitch when they moved some times and wasn't enough to cause problems. It also cleared up later in the same match
All the rest of the matches have been lag free

Sometimes it does take some time to synchronize everyone's connections it seems. This was around the middle of the game and the opposing team ended up winning when their top players became nearly invincible or were taking a lot more hits to bring down. It's ok, we are used to it now and the inconsistency, so not a big deal, we just play and move on.
