I do not like the fact that game devs are not releasing review copies in time for the gamers to make a decision. I no longer buy games on game day. I will wait.
I no longer buy games on game day. I will wait.
I'll start by saying that this^^ is prudent and completely justified. However I keep seeing this rift between this prudence and being excited for a new title. I mean I understand there has been disappointments which caused this prudence but why should we let that dampen our excitement? Why can't we get hyped for something that has high potential? Stay prudent, wait for reviews and gameplay. But don't be afraid to punch that hype train ticket, get excited and make wild speculations. It's a game, have fun.

There's a free demo that anyone can try.

Yes , I am going to play it. But usually it is not reflective of the entire game.

Usually a demo is. This isn't some alpha or beta. A demo shows what the game is.

Like the Destiny Demo?
Like the Ailen colonial marines demo
If people want another example

Or the old Homefront demo which was actually better balanced than the game.
