So, the new raid shaders.
Remember how for the original KF and Wrath HM shaders, you had to get a full set of the gear? That should be a requirement for the new ones. But you will realise there's a catch, right? The catch is, you have to ornament the whole set to fully unlock the shader, a much better system than rng, right? If only Bungo would add it...

2 RepliesWell maybe... But that could be nice but make it accessible on all characters. Getting every single armor set ornamented on each character just to use a shader on that character would be a pain in the ass and that's the one big flaw with the raid shader system for year 2 and 3

Ornamenting the whole set should do it. Would give you a goal to hit

7 RepliesIt should be for ornamenting a full set of gear, just like how the KF and WotM needs you to collect a full armour set for the shaders.

I have nearly three full sets of VoG armor, and not one of the shaders.

1 ReplyYep, I also have multiple raid completions and am yet to see a single raid shader drop. You can also add the Wrath of the Machine ship to this list, I've now done that raid on hard 26 times and am yet to see it drop, I've never even heard of a team mate getting it. It's year one all over again! I thought they fixed the crappy RNG in the Taken King expansion

It gives me an incentive to keep doing the weekly featured raids with my regular team on tuesday. I stopped doing all raids 3x a week just for vanity items that are not going to carry over.

I don't mind the lower drop rates as it gives me something to grind for. I am only missing the VoG shader and Ghost, Wrath Sparrow and KF Sparrow. Once I have those things, I am done. I want them now, but actually appreciate not having them.

Bump. I've gotten none to drop so far. With multiple raid clears each week too.
