I will step in. I would say I am primarily a 6v6 player. I have more primary kills than secondary ones. I don't like being without special at any time during a match. I prefer primary gun fights, but once I die and then spawn in, I am most likely going to come across someone with special. Now here is my deal. If sidearms re-spawned without ammo, I would be fine with the above scenario. I died, that's on me. Upon spawn, I try and keep my distance, use cover to win my 1v1s, avoiding a need for special. But with things the way they are, one special weapon type is at a complete advantage and you see sidearms dominating peoples secondary slots. That cannot have been Bungie's intention. Fix that and I will be good. Either remove this aspect of side arms or let guardians keep one or two rounds of special upon a death if they died with special. Giving people a round or two of special won't turn it back into shotgun rushers paradise, but put things on more equal footing if side arms respawn with ammo. Just my two cents.
