I'm (or was) mainly a 6v6 player. ....and I took such exception to the special ammo changes that I've walked away from the Crucible. IMO, that's what your seeing. It isn't that 6v6 players are more "satisfied" with changes than 3v3 and Trials players. Its that 6s players are less invested and personally identitifed with PVP than people in the 3s play list. So rather than continuing to beat their heads against the wall trying to get Bungie to change directions....many of us have simply quit. While I think you're right that Bungie needs to take a FAR more surgical approach to game tuning, the changes to the game from 2.5.0.2 have gone over like someone taking a shit in the punchbowl at a party.

I feel you're compartmentalizing you feelings and perception (maybe along with like minded people you played with) and injecting it into the grand scheme. There is the fact that less people are playing but that was happening already which is why they tightened up the playlists. All I'm hearing from this is you saying that 6v6 players don't care as much for playtime than 3s do. That's a pretty brash statement.

  • No. I've spent a great deal of time talking to people on this forum and in various clans that I've come into contact with. There are two basic kinds of players who are "happy" with the currentl meta. They are former Halo players...and players who don't want to have to cope with aggressive play styles. Everyone else is pretty unhappy with it. Now some players are unhappy...but the changes arent' a deal breaker....so they adapted and continue to play. Then there are players like myself for whom the changes WERE a dealbreaker...and they've quit the game. The issue though is one of COMPLAINING. I have no INTRINSIC need to complain. I bought this game for its PVE play, and identify mainly as a PVE player. Liking the game's PVP was just a happy accident...and a nice bonus. The only reason I AM here complaining is that there is the issue of Destiny 2 coming up, and the battle for the soul of that game and the direction that PVP takes going forwards. With that in mind, I feel then need to continue to show up here and give Bungie feedback. Otherwise, I would have simply walked away from the Crucible and never looked back. Just like I did when it became clear that Massive wasn't going to be making any new PVE content for The Division. I haven't posted on their forum in months....and haven't played that game in months either. I give feedback....and when it becomes clear that the someone is going to simply ignore that feedback...I stop giving it.
