It's nice that they went back to their roots, but I think it's probably too little too late. People have been asking for this for years, now it just looks like they did it because battlefield did (even though this game would have started development at least a year before BF1 was dropped). Trailer looks good though. But if it's not graphic like WaW was then I'm out. Tired of so called serious military shooters where people barely bleed so that they can still be marketed to children.

You guys ever think that someday the CEO of Activision will get this evangelical revelation during a marketing conference and just put a stop to making CoD games?
-
The fifth? Call of duty based in WWII with 2007 graphics and gameplay. So excited to singlehandedly win the war as a yank. Lmao the real yanks couldn't even beat weebs in a fight
-
Pretty meh tbh
-
Looks like it's only American soldiers. I bet it'll still take place in 1939 as well.
-
Favorite part was ingame footage. There's like only 1 second of gameplay and the rest is cutscenes

Edited by Onion Beetle Fan: 4/27/2017 10:27:59 AMTerrible game. There is no helicopters in that game or tanks even... Why does it hurt? It sucks not being able to play as a strong independent woman in World War II instead of a private rank American jew soldier.

Call of Duty: American Simulator 2017
no russians, no brits, no allies other than murica from what i can tell, thanks sledgehammer
-
Did it look good from a graphics standpoint? Of course, it was pure cinematics, the game probably won't look that good, especially if it's still on the engine they've been using for years now. Does it make me want to buy it? Definitely not. Until they stop the money hungry business model I won't be buying an Activision game.
-
I cared, sort of. Stopped as soon as angry children in the comments called me a "hater" and a "Battlefield Fanboy" because apparently those exist.
-
Bungie copied BF1 with the new Call of Duty so I'll just keep playing Infinity Warfare.
-
The trailer looked great, the cinematics obviously. But what they won't show us, is how packed full of microtransactions will be in the game!
-
Yes looked good. I like ww2 stuff. Saving private ryan and the Band of Brothers. They need to put Shifty into it. He is a good sniper.
-
Well, it was exclusively cinematics. But it is just a reveal trailer
-
Put it this way, I'd pre order codww2 before D2.
-
To be honest, it gave me chills. Very well done trailer and it seems that Call of Duty will finally look like it is a current gen game graphically. Unlike BF1's the music was very fitting. I really hope it plays like the old ones or like Medal of Honor.

Edited by moist nana: 4/27/2017 8:54:24 AMActually am looking forward to this CoD, new HQ area where players can hang out. Narrative driven assault game modes, team play in the campaign were you actualy work like a WW2 squad ontop of all the usualy cod stuff MP, zombies etc. Looks to be good.
-
It wasn't as good as the BF1 Trailer which I was comparing it to. But I'm still very excited for it
-
Trailer was good. But gameplay is everything. Im waiting for that trailer
-
looked good, the graphics were nicer than I expected
-
If they remaster mw2 I'll buy it

Honestly, Sledgehammer does a great job making games that look pretty. I'm trusting Sledgehammer they do a good job on the game. But I'm still being cautious.
