That's why I not only use the report and mute features, but I also use the ability to message ninja's or even employees if I'm being harassed.
From my personal experience, Bungie definitely doesn't do enough for this site, the community and it's problems.
Not anymore.

Bungie's dead.

Edited by Haknir: 4/10/2017 6:19:12 PMBack in the day, the ninjas were hardly better because of the more lax rules in general, but at least they were more active and tried.

They were definitely more effective. Not sure when you're referring to since it says you've been here two years, but the Ninjas were allowed to keep more order in the forums and everything was fine.
-
I mean they were better, but the rules were less strict too, should probably specify.

Oh, I'm talking about Pre-destiny. The moderators were way more strict. Warnings were pretty easy to get and bans were a daily thing. There are some drawbacks to that but if you were name calling at all you'd most likely get a warning (if not a ban). At least members weren't getting harassed/bullied like they do now.

I got harassed to the point that it started to have an impact on my personal life. That was probably 4 years ago? It's been a thing that I've seen for the past 6 years on here. People can get away with a lot more though.. now. But, at the same time, I feel like they don't. For instance, I got banned not that long ago for even mentioning the word masturbation. Explicit sexuality though I never once went into any sort of detail. I've seen so much worse, go unnoticed, and I report EVERYTHING that's against the CoC. I think really.. consistency is the difference between 6-3 years ago and now.

The "ninjas" totally form grudges against people they decide they don't like too.

Us veterans suffer while the newbies get a free ride. Severance means jack shit here clearly. Bungie wants their old fans gone.
-
Yea, well they started enforcing those rules again, but there aren't enough ninjas here anymore. Can't say I know about the pre-destiny days sadly though.
-
There are actually plenty of ninja's and mentors. Majority just don't post at all.
-
Hm, well I never see them. Involvement is always good too.
-
But not necessary.

I had no problems with them when they were more active. In fact, I'm still friends with a lot of ninja's and employees outside of this site. I think when they were more active, they were more "on top" of things. Quicker, anyway. The rules were different though. It was easier. Now? It's -blam!-ing chaos. I wouldn't want to be a rule enforcer here. You couldn't even pay me.
