Because "children" and "the R word" are not the same.
If you don't know the difference then this is a you problem.
"the R word" is not slightly offensive, it's very offensive.
Millennials are so funny with their naivete.

They certainly come together though:)

So where do you draw the line? Is calling someone stupid counted as the same since it generally means the same thing as the R word? What about you calling me A millennial? Using that also name calling even if I don't find it offensive it would be just as offensive if used differently as the dreaded R word.

Edited by X-LoganX: 4/10/2017 10:22:47 PMStupid is a measure of intelligence so to speak. Used to guage someone, or their ideas, in contrast to something or someone else. Retardation is a condition that affects a person and limits them mentally and physically. It directly and indirectly affects the people around them especially those that love and care for them. So actually it's quite stupid for you to even play at them being the same. The millennial comment was an observation based on the level of insensitivity, or lack thereof, that you have at seeing those words used, and my own experiences in these forums and others. I can admit I'm wrong if I am?
-
But your just as offensive with your words as you would be using the R word almost as if you have a biased against millennials as one would when discriminating against a race, gender, or mental problem. So you must be the discriminatory liberal am I right?

Lol. Judgmental and wrong. Have a good day kid and stay on school.

Okay troll

Either way the other forum user was insulting this one and should have been banned as well. yes maybe calling someone a child isn't as bad as the r word but it is still an insult and should be punished as such. I can see both sides of the argument.

Edited by X-LoganX: 4/10/2017 5:22:39 PMThis is where simpletons get this wrong. Calling someone a child based on how or what they are posting is an observational opinion not a direct insult. It's like me saying "that's pretty stupid of you to think that." OR "your opinion is stupid and childish". I'm not calling you those things I'm making as association of your opinion or view. If the 'other forums user said, "go play CoD with the other children" he's not calling the user a child but just making a correlation to his posts to childish behavior. Yes it's semantics and blurs a line but when he answered by calling him "R-word" the was a direct insult.

What concerns me the most about all this, is he used CoD as an insult. CoD is a lot of things, and generally gets picked on as it's the "top dog" so to speak. I myself haven't cared for it in a while. But just about any CoD is better than the dumpster fire that Bungie calls crucible. "I'm tired of your lip kid. Go play that far more nuanced and accomplished game series that actually knows how make good competitive multiplayer....."
