Food for Thought: Raids

I, for one, can appreciate the time taken to bring back these raids with their new improvements. To have VoG and CE back for players to enjoy (or despise, for that matter) is something any avid Destiny player can agree is an improvement to D1. There is, however, something that has quite a few players, including myself, ruffling their feathers over. The raids themselves have been improved in terms of gameplay mechanics, yet there still lie problems around many corners. Take Crota's End Heroic as one such example. An individual could very well argue that persisting problems are due to the players' connection while joined up as fireteams, but for the Swordbearer's blade to clip and fall through the area for as many players as I have raided with sounds more like a technical issue on the game's end. Something like this leaves me concerned over how the other revised raids will be treated. Will the Praetorians outside the Vault's entrance briefly remain nigh immortal even after having their health reduced. Will the Templar be stuck mid-teleport in it's own sub-space? Will Atheon suddenly be susceptible to being pushed off his throne just like in days past?
That last one actually would be a largely appreciated glitch. u( '-')u
Point to be made here is that if the dev team is serious about bringing back the past raids then they must also be willing to put in the effort to address bugs and issues that erupt from the game from time to time. I would like to buy Destiny 2, but if they cannot even fix something like the problems that still persist in Destiny 1 then what's to be said that the same will not occur in the sequel? I'm not gonna preorder for some measly legendaries that will become irrelevant in-game and I'm certainly not going to do it just because you have Nathan Fillion spearheading the trailers with zero gameplay or information regarding the gameplay.
Though I will admit that man voices Cayde better than the Devil can play on a golden fiddle.
I want to see dedication and effort being put into this game. Hell, a lot of past and recent Bungie fans want the same thing. At the end of the day, there's only two whose perinæums are being kicked: the community that plays and supports Bungie's games and Bungie itself.
