BF1 Bad Medics

Rant area for BF1 Bad Medics, also works for BF4 lol. Can we all agree that if you have ever played a newer Battlefield game we get to meet all those "Amazing" people in battlefield. If you have absolutly no clue what i mean by this, there are some people in battlefield who revive you whether or not you are in an enemys view. Sometimes the medic pulls out his syringe looks at you and bags you, and then you get the occasional medic who doesnt realize he can revive people.(Or he just took off the syringe). I would like people to put there experiences in the comments as i would like to see what all of you have experienced. Thanks!

  • I tend to find that class is the preserve of the tryhard that looks to use the medic bag and superior infantry weapons to inflate their K/D, mainly on TDM or other non-vehicle modes. Especially if they combine said bag with a noob tube rather than defib / syringe. Been that way since BC2.

    • Sorry, but when I run the medic class I always use rifle grenades! So most of the time I can't revive. I hate the fact there are so few players using the Assault class, so at least I can damage tanks with my grenades.

      • I swear I'm the only medic who revives. Seriously. 99% of the time when I die medics run by and ignore me because they have to get "T3H K1LL5!" or they don't have the syringe equipped.

      • Brought up a challenge for you medics if you like... Hacksaw Ridge Challenge: 1. Only use medic syringe 2. Only smoke grenades 3. You can't kill people with said syringe 4. No guns 5. No medic crates can be used 6, do this on a intense small map (Argonne forest works for people without dlc) but for those who have it do it on devils anvil, me and other guys did this and the Germans didn't even break the first sector for the entire operation. Have fun, I sure did

      • Sometimes you gotta do the Desmond Doss, ignore the bullets and keep pulling bodies out of there.

      • If I'm attacking an objective I'll go straight for the revive. If I'm defending I'll kill enemies first if we still have control but if we're losing it I'll go for revive. It's very exhilarating running across open sight to save someone

      • I've noticed a plethora of, bad medics, bad squad leaders, campy tanks. First two are self explanatory, and really ruin any chances of team play. The last is that one guy in a st. Chamond tank on that hill way far back lobbing shots. It's really annoying when all your team's tanks, the lifeblood of a successful push, are acting like field guns.

        • How do people not realize how to use a medic. You can heal yourself but in exchange you must heal and revive others. It's a balance and it must be kept.

        • It does get annoying. Sad thing is with the group I just started with that's all I run is medic. I spend way too much time each game doing revives, and yet I'm almost always top 5 of the teams board. It is very rare to see another medic even attempting to revive people, especially after they see I'm doing revives.

        • I usually revive people around corners to check for enemies. It's what a blueberry deserves.

          • I'm BF1, I had this TDM, forgot what the Map was but there was a massive Fire Fight going on basically consisting of our entire team on the left side of the Hill, and the other team on the right side. Ever time somebody would die, the Medics would stare at you for a few seconds, then keep firing.

          • Bad tank drivers too. There are times when you need to retreat, but a good support player can repair the tank fast enough if you stay where you are to provide cover. Check the health of the vehicle, just because your getting shot doesn't mean the tank is about to explode. /rant

            • I'll be the medic to revive you even when it means both of our imminent deaths. I'm surprised anyone would be upset about that, though, especially when it's more likely to find a medic who will never revive you. Even the "K/D whores" still have nothing to complain about since it still only counts as one death.

              • I play how I want. I'm a combat medic. If I can get to you then I will. If you die in a bad spot then I'm not going to bother with you.

              • BF3: Revived in front of the enemy and die again. BF4: Medics run past and give zero fucks. I'm so looking forward to playing with the useless medics once I pick up BF1.

              • Can't always predict when a dude is gonna charge your position, so don't just assume that being killed upon being revived was intentional. Also, don't expect us to revive you in the middle of a firefight, we want to try and prevent your death right off the revive.

              • Well I mean, if you all wouldn't charge right into the middle of 5 enemies we would have a chance to revive you without sacrificing our safety and the other teammates that are staying together just so we can revive you...
