The Bible also says you should be stoned to death for wearing more than one type of fabric, cutting your hair, laying with the same sex, believing in other Gods, blasphemy and so on.
Christianity is NOT tolerant. Religion is about control. Nothing else.

And what happens when there's no control? Now stop crying about religion and live your life.
The Bible also says you should be stoned to death for wearing more than one type of fabric, cutting your hair, laying with the same sex, believing in other Gods, blasphemy and so on. Christianity is NOT tolerant. Religion is about control. Nothing else.
And you've only described ancient Judaism lol not Christianity at all XD Good job demonstrating that you don't know what you're talking about 🙂🍿
-
That is were you are wrong. Those laws were 'completed' by Jesus himself.
-
I am not wrong. Read the Bible. Death to anyone who isn't straight, God-fearing and who follows every word of the scripture is the antithesis of "tolerance."

That isn't an argument. Read the Bible. The word of God says it all.
-
That isn't an argument. Read the Bible. The word of God says it all.
I read the whole thing . What you describe is judaism. Maybe you should study it to understand it instead of merely reading and glossing it over lol

You do realize all three religions share a lot in common right?
-
You do realize all three religions share a lot in common right?
Yup! But they differ on the most pivotal point.
-
It's in the Bible. It's a part of Christianity.
-
It's in the Bible. It's a part of Christianity.
How is it a part of Christianity? You've had people in your family history that committed crimes. Is that part of you? Does that make you a murderer? Does Christ tell his followers to follow the laws that you described?
-
It taints my family tree, just as violence taints Christianity.
-
It taints my family tree, just as violence taints Christianity.
I don't care about your family tree. I didn't ask about that.
How is it a part of Christianity? You've had people in your family history that committed crimes. Is that part of you? Does that make you a murderer? Does Christ tell his followers to follow the laws that you described?
I asked in regards to you. Do you have the intellectual honesty to answer the questions genuinely or does thinking outside the box scare you?
-
I answered your questions. Don't act like I didn't.
-
I answered your questions. Don't act like I didn't.
You didn't answer them relevantly lol I guess you are incapable of being honest with yourself and others. Have fun and stay safe in your little bubble!
-
I did answer them. If you're going to blatantly lie and make me look like the fool when it's you that is the fool, you may want to reevaluate your life.
-
I did answer them. If you're going to blatantly lie and make me look like the fool when it's you that is the fool, you may want to reevaluate your life.
You answered them irrelevantly. Too bad for you that I'm not lying XD Go rethink your life! Lol
-
I did not. You asked how my family committing crimes in a hypothetical scenario affectes me, and I states that it taints my name due to the connotations behind it, as is with Christianity. Sorry, but what's said is said. You cannot deny this.

Lol and now you're evading those questions and would rather argue whether or not you answered them XD

Edited by LiamCDM: 4/1/2017 4:01:00 AMMy name and family tree is me. It's part of my entire existence. What my nane is, and the connotations behind it affects my life. Nice try though.

Like I said before, those laws are no longer in play. Maybe you should talk less and listen more.
-
Show me using scripture where these laws have been abandoned.
-
““Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.” Matthew 5:17 NIV http://bible.com/111/mat.5.17.niv What he meant by fulfill is complete. When Jesus says that he will complete the law, he says that once he is done, its purpose will be served, therefore no longer necessary.
-
That makes literally no sense.
-
Perhaps not to you, but it is pretty easy to understand for me and other Christians. Maybe the reason you are not Christian is because you are not intelligent enough.
