The Bible also says you should be stoned to death for wearing more than one type of fabric, cutting your hair, laying with the same sex, believing in other Gods, blasphemy and so on.
Christianity is NOT tolerant. Religion is about control. Nothing else.

When Jesus says that he will complete the law, he says that once he is done, its purpose will be served, therefore no longer necessary.
