The record book is designed so you don't have to complete everything to earn all the rewards. They said that at the onset. Not everyone will be able to complete everything, since many nodes relate to possibilities the player did not (or could not) play.

Still would like to be able to get all the ghosts, I like to complete everything possible in games I enjoy.
