Actually, it would've taken place right before the fire team was introduced to Toland. I put it there because I wanted City Politics to play into the story a little more. The Death of Executor Ho would've plunged New Monarchy into a succession dispute. Additionally, since Arach Linde's position as Arach would've been tenuous at best (the loss of four Dead Orbit ships really did not go over well with her supporters), it would've been easier for Eriana and the others to sneak around, as no one would be paying attention to them. That's another one of the reasons I regret having to cut out Lysander; he really allowed me to put in a lot about City politics, which was surprisingly interesting to write about.
